I've been married since January 2008 to my biggest fan, and best friend. We have 3 kids, Mackson, Kaylin, and Linclon. I am from Utah, but now live in Ohio (since July 2015) for Podiatry School.

started out at 8.0 mph and every 0.5 miles I increased speed by 0.1 mph. So by mile 5 I was at 9.0 mph, I held that for 1 mile, then came down .1 mph every 0.25 miles to end at 8.2 mph for the last quarter of a mile.

Total time was 56:21, avg of 7:03 miles.

This was the first run in a while that wasn't just an easy steady pace. It felt good to start working out again rather than just running.

I warmed up for 2 miles. Then did 4 x1200 meters with 3 minute rests in between. I ran the first 800 meters at my goal marathon pace (9.0 mph), then ran the last 400 meters at my mile time (10.1 mph, which is actually low, but I am out of shape right now). I would then do a 3 minute recovery jog at 8.2 mph. I did that 4 times, then did the last .7 miles at 8.6 mph.

Total time was 48:30

avg pace of 6:56.

I felt really good during and after the run. I am excited about it. I think next time I do this I will do the 400 meters at my goal mile pace (according to a marathon time of 2:56ish). That is about a 5:10 mile, or 11.6 mph, so I will need to get in a lot better shape before this workout cycles through and shows up again.

I started out at 8 mph, at .67 miles I went to 8.1 mph, at 1.33 I went to 8.2 mph, and at 2 I went to 8.3 mph, at 3 I went to 8.4 mph. At 4 I went to 9.0mph and held that pace for 2.5 miles. When I go to 6.5 miles I went down to 8.6 mph until I hit 7. I did the last mile at 8.5 mph.

I felt ok during this run, and felt like I could have gone longer at 9.0 mph.

9 miles on tm at 1.0 incline. I started at 8.0 mph and would increase by 0.1 mph every mile. At mile 6 instead of going to 8.6 mph I went to 9 mph and held that pace to finish the run. I had to keep motivating and lying to myself to help me keep the pace, but I got it done.

8 miles on tm at 1.0% incline in 53:50. I did a 2 mile warm up then did a little speed work out.

I did 1/4 mile at 11.3 mph, 1/2 mile at 10.1 mph, 1.5 mile at 8.7 mph, 1/2 mile at 1.1 mph, 1/4 mile at 11.3 mph. I then did .5 miles at 8.2 mph to recover followed by 1/8 mile at 11.3, 1/4 at 10.1, .75 at 8.7, 1/4 at 10.1, 1/8 at  11.3. I then did 1 mile at 8.7 mph to finish 8 miles in 53:50.

avg pace 6:44.

I felt good during this run. I was tired but able to keep going.

7 miles on tm at 1.0% incline in 47:37. I had originally panned on taking this run easy, maybe going as fast as 8.3 mph,. But as I was running, I just kept feeling better and better (even though I had costa vida trying to come back up form dinner), and I decided to go faster and faster.

9 miles on tm at 1.0% incline. I wanted to do a speed workout, but I just didn't have it in me, so I just did this at a quicker pace than normal. I averaged about 8.9mph, I don't know my exact time.

I  had to take a test today, and the kid sitting next to me kept letting out the worst smelling farts. He would fart about every 5 minutes, for the entire 2 hours I was taking my test. I was getting really mad. Of course while I was running, I was the guy with smelly gas. I am sure the girls on either side of me were getting mad. Life is funny.

9 miles on tm at1.0% incline in 1:01:49. I felt very tired during this run, but had good motivation to hurry and get it over with. I feel a little sore 3 hour after the run, which is not normal. Hopefully I can recover for tomorrows run.

10 miles on tm at 1.0% incline in 1:11:46. avg pace of 7:11. I wanted to do a speed workout today, but in one of my classes the teacher had us go to the gym and lift weights, including lower body. My kegs didn't feel up to going super fast, so I took it easy today.
